More than 500 girls at Bituyu Secondary School have already benefited from our sanitary towels distribution project—an initiative designed to restore dignity, promote menstrual health, and keep girls in school.
For many girls in underserved communities, managing their periods is a monthly challenge filled with shame, discomfort, and missed opportunities. Without access to sanitary products, some are forced to stay home during their menstrual cycle, leading to frequent absenteeism and, in some cases, dropping out altogether.
At Abundant Hope Kenya, we believe that no girl should be held back by her period. Our project not only provides sanitary towels, but also includes menstrual health education, hygiene training, and open conversations that break the stigma surrounding menstruation.
But this is just one school.
There are thousands more girls across Kenya waiting for this kind of support—girls who deserve to feel confident, clean, and empowered every day of the month.
With your support, we can reach them.
Together, we can create a future where periods no longer stand in the way of a girl’s education, self-esteem, or dreams.
